About me

Every story begins within ...

I used to think that after 50, life would finally settle down. After raising children, building a career, and facing life's ups and downs, I thought I’d earned some peace and predictability—a little less chaos, a little more stillness. Quiet mornings with coffee, afternoons filled with simple joys, and evenings spent reflecting on a well-lived life.

But life, as it often does, had other plans.

Instead of coasting, I found myself at a crossroads—feeling both lost and excited, asking questions I never thought I’d ask.

Who am I now that the labels I once wore have faded? What do I truly want for this next chapter? And how can I rediscover joy, authenticity, and a sense of wonder?

This space is my answer, and perhaps yours too.

What Worlds Within is about

Here, I explore what it means to live with elegance and authenticity—to be true to yourself while savoring all the little pleasures that make life sweet.

Chocolate and wine? Absolutely.
Strict diets and crazy training routines? No, thank you.

I’ve learned that beauty lies in balance—whether it's how we care for our bodies, how we travel, or how we discover ourselves.

My journey

Let’s be honest - it hasn’t always been easy.

There have been times of deep stress—moving from the USSR to Denmark, losing my sense of identity, going through a divorce, being a single mom in a foreign country, loosing loved ones, battling cancer and losing my breast, and feeling the weight of loneliness.

Maybe you’ve felt that way too.

There were moments when I doubted myself, times when I wondered if the spark inside me had gone out for good. But here's what I’ve learned: we’re never really finished. Life is a constant discovery of who we are and what makes us come alive.

Each of us carries worlds within - a rich collection of experiences that shape us, strengthen us, and give us the wisdom to see life differently. And when we stay open to change, growth, and even a childlike sense of curiosity, we can uncover something extraordinary.
